Best Western Hôtel Royan Océan

The location of this hotel is perfect. The room had a sea view and view of the bay at Royan, fishing port and marina. The whole road in front of the hotel offered free parking, so there were never any problems. Foncillon beach is just a walk across the road away. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was light and nicely decorated. As the ferry crosses the estuary from nearby, there was plenty to watch from our room.We really enjoyed our stay here.

Superb location. Overlooking the Gironde with panoramic views. Just a few minutes walk from main areas of interest. Free municipal parking nearby, plentiful, depending on season of course. This is an older hotel, but well kept, and satisfyingly free of nonsensical design gagdets. For us, in May, the price was high but still OK.

Well located, clean with lovely staff. Breakfast excellent choice and fresh Rooms lovely especially the bathroom and a great sea view even though described as lateral sea view Free parking right outside . Our dogs were made to feel very welcome too

Lovely clean modern room a little on the s mall size and no drawers at all only a shelf in a small wardrobe. Could do with bedside tables that had drawer spaces in them those designed were just a top and side legs. We stayed for 6 days and it was a perfect location to walk to the pretty harbour for dinner etc or across the road to a huge sandy beach the evening sunset and cleanliness was very good. Or exploring the coastline this hotel was easy access to the area. It was also very peaceful yet near to the town in fact walking distance. There was no noise and free on street parking most times outside. We had a really lovely time and the staff were so nice on hand at all time. The room was kept really clean and serviced
